Andres Muñoz Claros is an award-winning Colombian illustrator and muralist with a background in art direction and design based in Hamburg. He graduated from the illustration program at HAW Hamburg. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors and rich vibes of his Latin heritage, Andres combines dynamic analog painting with optimistic and playful digital shapes and characters.
Passionate about cultural identity and daily life, his work spans editorial illustration, mural painting, advertising, and book illustration.
His work has been recognized in several awards, including the the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the unpublished picture book showcase award, 3X3 Illustration award and the Add Art Audience Prize in Germany.
